I started my career in 1997 as assistant engineer to Tchad Blake at the Sunset Sound Factory in Hollywood. In 1998, my friend Victor Indrizzo made a record with Daniel Lanois (Scott Weiland, Twelve Bar Blues) and I had the opportunity to observe some of the sessions. I struck up a friendship with Daniel and he asked me to engineer his next album, Shine. I ended up working exclusively as Daniel's engineer for the next ten years, recording nine albums and touring extensively. In 2009, I started doing freelance work with artists such as John Frusciante, Brian Blade, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
